This is something I often hear – and probably would have said myself at one point! Here are 5 great reasons to use the The Holiday Helper for your next trip:
1) It saves you time
Researching a trip is pretty time consuming. Looking up hotels, cross-checking reviews, finding activities and the right location… Even if you love the process, it can be hard to fit it in. And if you hate it, outsourcing it is a no-brainer! Why not let me do the hard work for you?
2) It’s free and it can be cheaper than doing it yourself
As an independent travel agent, I don’t charge anything to design a trip. I make money through commission from hotels and package providers. This would otherwise go to a large online platform like booking.com.
I always aim for the holiday to cost no more than if you put it together yourself. And sometimes I can get you cheaper rates. I have access to a library of travel suppliers to find you the best deal. This includes trade-only suppliers who don’t sell direct to the public.
If you find a quote online, I may be able to negotiate it down for you. Plus I’ll keep an eye out for hidden extra charges that might make the holiday look cheaper elsewhere.
3) I can share knowledge and expertise
I’ve travelled widely and have visited many of the destinations I send clients to. So I can give you tips you won’t find on online booking sites.
What’s the best time of year to go? What are the VISA requirements? What’s the best hotel room or cruise ship cabin? What are the best well known & off-the-beaten track sights and activities? You can rely on The Holiday Helper to provide all the info you need for a successful trip.
4) You’ll get a personalised service
I’m dedicated to finding the best trip for YOU. We’ll start by discussing your needs, preferences and interests.
I can organise excursions, ski / surf lessons, car hire, parking, taxis and babysitting. If you love good food, I can book you into the most popular restaurants when the tables are released. Whatever you need for the perfect holiday!
If you require special assistance at the airport or hotel, I’ll arrange this for you. And if you need help or have questions during your trip, I’m just a phone call away.
5) You’ll be better protected
I’m ABTA registered and offer ATOL protected holidays. ABTA means I’m bound by the code of conduct for British travel agents. ATOL gives you financial and legal protection when booking a flight and hotel package holiday.
For some trips, it can be cheaper to book flights and accommodation separately. You can get travel insurance in place of the ATOL protection – I can advise on what to look for.
